Learning SSL Pin (Public Key) Value in Closed Systems

You can get the pin value by following the steps below on the Chrome browser.

1.By pressing the lock icon on the left side of the address bar on the Chrome browser.

  1. Click on the Connection is secure tab from the drop-down menu.

  1. Again, click on Certificate is valid from the drop-down menu.

  1. In the tab that opens, we press the export button in the detail section and export our certificate.

  1. After extracting the certificate, we open the directory where the certificate is located from the terminal screen for Mac computers and run the following code snippet.
