Solution Explorer Panel

Solution explorer is the panel that shows a solution, project, and other items that belong to the project opened in the development interface.

When the solution or project is not opened in the development interface, solution explorer appears blank as follows.

In addition to the default panel properties, the Solution explorer panel also has options for New Solution, New Project, Open Solution, Open Project, and Hide System Files. New Solution, New Project, Open Solution, Open Project and Open Project operations can be done from the File area in the menu, the Open and New areas on the initial screen, the shortcuts on the toolbar, or from these shortcuts in the solution explorer.

When a solution is open and clicked in the Solution Explorer panel, the options in the panel will change to "New Project", "Current Project", and "Show All Files". A new project is created under the open solution with the New Project button, a project previously created in the system is added under the open solution with the Existing Project button, and the Show All Files / Hide System Files option provides the option to show or show a system-created file if it exists.

When a project is open and clicked in the solution explorer panel, the options in the panel; "Refresh" will change to "New Folder", "New Item" and "Show All Files".

The Refresh button allows you to refresh the project files. With the New Folder button, a new folder can be created within the project. With the New item option, different types of files can be added to the project. This button performs the same function as the "Add File" option under the File heading in the menu. The Show All Files / Hide System Files button gives you the option to show or show a system-generated file if it exists.
