Document Viewer Types

Depending on the format of the displayed document, it is displayed in different document viewers. There are 6 viewer formats: Text Viewer, Video Viewer, PDF Viewer, Image Viewer, Tiff Viewer, and GroupDocs Viewer.

Text Viewer

It is suitable for viewing documents in text format such as JSON, TXT. In the DocumentManagement.Viewers.ViewersConfig configuration, the mimetype values assigned to the Text Viewer type are opened with the Text Viewer.

Video Viewer

It is suitable for viewing documents in video format such as MP4, MKV. The mimetype values assigned to the Video Viewer type in the DocumentManagement.Viewers.ViewersConfig configuration are opened with the Video Viewer.

PDF Viewer

It is suitable for viewing documents in PDF format. In the DocumentManagement.Viewers.ViewersConfig configuration, the mimetype values assigned to the PDF Viewer type are opened with the PDF Viewer.

Image Viewer

It is suitable for viewing documents in image format such as PNG, JPEG. The mimetype values assigned to the Image Viewer type in the DocumentManagement.Viewers.ViewersConfig configuration are opened with the Image Viewer.

Tiff Viewer

It is suitable for viewing image documents in Tiff format. In the DocumentManagement.Viewers.ViewersConfig configuration, the mimetype values assigned to the Tiff Viewer type are opened with the Tiff Viewer.

GroupDocs Viewer

It can be used to view DOCX, PPTX, XLSX extensions and many office documents and TIFF, PNG, GIF extensions and many image documents.
