In the process management module, it enables the determination of which authorizations users who are not module administrators will have for each process.
Only when the "Use process-based authorization" parameter is active, this tab is displayed in the process details, otherwise all users will be fully authorized in all processes.
On the Authorization Matrix tab in the process detail, the Add Authorization Matrix button can be used to add User, Position, and User Group types.
It is also possible to add a sql script to the authorization matrix with the add script button, and help can be obtained from the ensemble support team while preparing the sql script.
The definitions added to the Authority Matrix have the options to see, modify, delete, print, model, and edit restricted.
Each of these options is to determine what privileges the user(s) on the relevant definition will have over the current process, below is a description of each authorization.
A user defined as a process management module administrator does not need to be added to the authorization matrix, nor will it be a problem to do so.
There are three options in the scope of saving the matrix, none of which will be selected by default. There are also options to 'Add matrix to subprocesses' and 'Apply matrix to subprocesses'.
When the process is saved by selecting the 'Add matrix to subprocesses' option; The authorization matrix of this process will be added to all sub-processes of this process, and the matrix in this process will be added without changing the existing authorization matrices of the sub-processes.
When the process is saved by selecting the 'Apply matrix to subprocesses' option; The authorization matrix of this process and all the sub-processes of this process will have the authority matrix, which is the exact bear of this process.
The options 'Add matrix to subprocesses' and 'Apply matrix to subprocesses' will only be applied to processes where there is authority to edit subprocesses.
