Authorize a different menu

After a system administrator has access to the QDMS application with a user, you can follow the steps below.

  1. Open the System Infrastructure Definitions > BSAT > Definitions > User Group Definition page.
  2. On the page that opens, click the "New" button at the top right.
  3. On this page, enter the details of the user group. Select the users who should be in this user group and click the save button at the top right.
  4. After the process is completed, click the save button at the top right.
  5. After defining the user group, you need to define the authorization group. For this, open the System Infrastructure Definitions > BSAT > Definitions > Authorization Groups Definition page.
  6. On the page that opens, click the "New" button at the top right.
  7. Determine the name of the authorization group. Then you will see 2 panels on the left and right at the bottom of the page. The left panel represents all the menus, and the right panel refers to the authorizations you will give to this authorization group. Therefore, select which menus you want this authorization group to see from the left panel and transfer it to the right panel. (After selecting from the left panel, you can transfer to the right panel with the "single arrow to the right" button in the middle.)
  8. After defining the authorization group, click the save button at the top right.
  9. You need to match the authorization group with the user group you have created. To make this matching, open the System Infrastructure Definitions > BSAT > Definitions > User Authorizations Definition page.
  10. Click on the "New" button at the top right of the page that opens.
  11. On the next page, in the user group field, enter the user group you defined in step 3; In the jurisdiction group area, 7. Select the authorization group you defined in the step and click the save button at the top right.

By performing these operations, you can define the user group and authorization group, and match this user group and authorization group that you defined.
