Use of Query and Query Tree Type Fields in Risk-Based Modules

Risk-based modules are modules in which many different types of fields can be defined and used due to their structure. Examples of these modules are all risk assessment modules, modules such as Change Management, Incident Notification.

Among the fields that can be used in these modules and on the Field Definition & Function Designer sides of other modules, Query and Query Tree type fields differ from other areas in terms of their use. Query-type fields make any data in the database available in the risk-based module related to the query used.

For example, there is no field that can select a country on the field definition screen. However, by using the query type field, it is possible to selectively select the values on the BSAT-Definitions-Country Definition screen in the relevant module.

Another very common example is workplace identification. BSAT-Definitions- Workplace Identification Workplaces can only be used in risk assessment or other risk-based modules by using query or query tree-type fields.

Another example is the Ensemble. When risk-based modules need to be associated with processes, Processes need to be activated from parameters. However, in some cases where this parameter will not be used and the processes are requested to be seen in the risk form so that they can only appear in the report without establishing a relationship with the processes, the process list on the Ensemble side can be brought to the QDMS side with query-type fields.

It is necessary to get help from the support team for the use of Query and Query Tree (used when breaking structure is desired) type fields. Upon being asked with which query the database value needed via BSS can be used in the module, the support team transmits the necessary query with a screenshot.
