MTTR-MTBF calculation formulas
The calculation of MTBF in practice is carried out according to the following formulas.
1- MTBF : Mean Time Between Failure
It is the average time between two unplanned shutdowns of a work center. If the Mtbf report of the Section Base is ticked, the number of Entities included in the Filter in the Denominator is not taken into account. This is how Mtbf in charts works.
##2- MTTR : Mean Time To Repair or Retrieve
It is the average duration of an unplanned stop. In other words, it is the average value of a business center from the moment it stops unplanned to become operational again. Naturally, the smaller the value, the better.
