SUPERSEDED DOCUMENT FEATURE

Activating the document field it replaces is performed from the language settings menu. The Language Settings menu opens > System Infrastructure Definitions > BSAT > Configuration Settings. Document Management is filtered from within the modules. Its name is searched in the grid with the name "lblSubstituteDocument" and entered with the update button. It is saved by typing the field name (Substituted Document) in the Value field.


If the document is selected from the existing published documents from the "Document Replaced" field in the "Other Information" tab during document revision/preparation, if the document in the preparation/revision process is approved from the last approval position and the publication process takes place, it will initiate a cancellation flow to the document selected from the "Document Replaced" field.


If the new document prepared according to the adjustments made in the image above is published after the control and approval stages, the "Bimser Visual" document selected in the document field it replaces will proceed to the cancellation flow and will be removed from publication and replaced by the newly prepared document.
