User Groups

User groups can be created based on a specific property to be used in authorization definitions or during flow design.

For example; At a certain step in the flow of a project, the action of 3 users defined in the system as a control group is needed. In this case, instead of adding fixed Position objects to the flow and defining these 3 users in the corresponding position objects, a user group record with these 3 people is created from the "User Groups" section and the action is reduced to this user group at the corresponding step of the flow. Thus, when a new user is added to the control group structure or an existing user is removed from this group, manageability is increased by editing directly the relevant User Group record instead of interfering with the flow design.

As another example; When only certain people want to be able to see a project or report added to the application menu, a user group is created to host these people and the authority of the relevant menu nodes is given directly to the group instead of being given to individual users. In this way, users who belong to the group will automatically benefit from the privileges given to the group.

The list of available user groups and their detailed information can be accessed under the heading "User Groups".

Adding a new user-group to the system, existing viewing-user-group information or modification-of user group information are also carried out under this heading.

Clicking on the User Groups heading lists all the user groups defined in the system in the panel that opens.

The columns of this user group list structure can be sorted, records can be filtered, details of an existing record can be entered, a new user group can be added, or an existing record can be modified.
