Position Maintenance
Workflows can be carried out both user-based and position-based. When a position is used in process steps, trades are executed by the person who owns that position. Just like the user, when the position is inactive, the system will give a "passive position" warning if a passive position is found in the process steps. The Position Maintenance area is used so that this warning is not received and trades can continue over an active position instead of a passive position.
Clicking the Position Maintenance field under the Organization Maintenance heading will list any records that have already been defined.
This list of records can be searched, sorted by its columns, or a new record can be added.
To add a new definition, press the "New" button in the upper left corner of the list of records. Pressing the New button will open a blank page in the side panel, where the "No" and "New No" fields are expected to be filled.

When the position records are selected from the No and New No fields and the save button is pressed on the page, the definition process is completed.

When the No and New No fields are selected and the Save button is pressed, the newly defined record will be added to the list of records. After this process, the system will automatically direct the transaction to the new position in the steps where the inactive record passes.
Best Practice
CORRECT USAGE
- From the New No field, an active position should be selected to replace the inactive position. In workflows, process requests for steps where the passive position is used will now be reduced from the New No field to the selected position after this operation

- This process is used in order not to receive errors and not to stop operations in case of inactivity of a position record that has been previously used in workflows. If the position record has not fallen into inactivity, this maintenance definition is not made
