Document Management - Parameter 166

When the document is published, the system automatically sends a publishing e-mail to the users in the distribution matrix and to the people in the user groups. I sent this, if there is a user group in the distribution matrix and there are too many users in this group, the system queues the e-mail address of each user and sends it. In this case, the publication e-mail is sent according to the mail order and may take time.

For this case, parameter 166 from the document parameters can be used. When this parameter is made yes; System Infrastructure Definitions > BSAT > Definitions > When entering any user group from the User Group Definition menu, the 'E-mail Address' field opens at the bottom. In this field, the e-mail address of the relevant user group, which is defined within the company and includes the relevant users, can be defined.

When the document is published after defining this field, if there is a relevant user group in the distribution matrix, it does not create an e-mail to all users in the group one by one. It only sends to the e-mail address defined in the e-mail field. The relevant e-mail address distributes to users within the company's own SMTP server. In this way, mail distribution is done quickly.
